ZEN BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU INSTRUCTORS

Chris Blowars

Chris Blowars - Coach Zen Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Cooperburg, PA

Chris has 10+ years of experience practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He was

awarded his Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt in November 2021 by Jeremy Henderson, a third degree black belt under Robson Moura.

His interest in starting BJJ comes from several years of youth, middle, and high school wrestling. As you age, you always reminisce about the grind and camaraderie on the mats from your younger years.

As an older practitioner, being active is the key to staying younger as he consistently trains 5 days a week. Practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as an older adult can improve your cardio, flexibility, balance,

coordination, and reduces everyday stresses of life. He truly believes in the saying that "Age is just a number".

Getting started is the hardest part of Jiu Jitsu, it all starts by wrapping a white belt around your waist and

a black belt is a white belt who never quits as the journey never ends.

It's never too late to start!
